The year is flying by. I'm starting to get work framed for this years exhibitions. There are some traditional wildlife paintings and some new work combining image, lettering and gold.
My first miniature painting (of a wren) has been selected for exhibition by the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers at the Mall Galleries, London. I am chuffed to bits!
'Then and Now' was selected for a further exhibition at David Shepherd's headquarters in Shalford, Surry.
April 2012 - David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year 2012 Exhibition
I am over the moon that my painting 'Then and Now' has been chosen as one of the finalists in this prestigious international competition. It will be hung, amongst a selection of wonderful wildlife related painting and sculpture, at the Mall Galleries in May this year.
Through the DSWF, David Shepherd is raising desperately needed funds to save critically endangered mammals in the wild. The proceeds from this exhibition will help - do visit!
